Today, I’d like to explain the benefits of HPV vaccination (Gardasil 9) for men.

 

1. What is HPV?

HPV (Human Papillomavirus) is a group of over 100 related viruses, some of which are classified as high-risk types known to cause cancer.

 

HPV is a sexually transmitted infection, and the majority of sexually active people—both men and women—will be infected at some point in their lives.

 

While many infections clear naturally, persistent HPV infection can lead to cancer.

 

2. Which HPV types does Gardasil 9 protect against?
